I’m an intern working in emergency medicine and internal medicine.  When I’m not doing my doctor thing I’m usually at home with my wife and our dog.  Normally I’d love to say more but I think anonymity serves this blog better than full disclosure.  And speaking of, what a wonderful seque to my disclaimer, which will sit here until I find a better place for it:

As for the stories contained with in, any names have beenchanged to protect identities of my patients, their families, and my co-workers. These stories have some basis in reality, but are not always entirely factual.
